All persons are expected to abide by all applicable laws, local
ordinances, Board policies/regulations, and OHSAA guidelines. The
following prohibited actions, items or behavior may result in
removal from school grounds/activities for up to one calendar year
(BCLSD Policy KGB) and potentially result in facing additional
criminal and/or school discipline:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
  • No person on District property may assault, strike, threaten, menace or use
    improper, indecent or obscene language or gestures toward a teacher, instructor,
    other District employees or students at any time. This prohibition is extended to all
    athletic officials, coaches and athletes in the District and all visiting teams.
  • Entering or throwing objects onto field, court or playing area or entering team,
    coaches or officials locker rooms or offices.
  • No person is permitted to distribute, dispense, possess or use any narcotic drug,
    hallucinogenic drug, amphetamine, barbiturate, cannabis/marijuana (cannabinoids
    R.C. 3780.33(H)(4)), alcohol or any other controlled substance, as defined in State
    and/or Federal law, in a school building or upon the campus or grounds at any
    time.
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or the
    use of illegal substances.
  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, in any areas of the facility and grounds.
  • Unless otherwise permitted by law, no person is permitted to bring deadly
    weapons or dangerous ordnances into a school safety zone.
  • Animals, pets, are not permitted on school grounds. In compliance with Federal
    law, the Board permits the use of service animals for those individuals with
    qualified disabilities.
  • No outside sporting equipment is permitted unless prior approval by the athletic department. We will confiscate and remove all items.
  • Any sign or act that may be deemed inappropriate by administration, security, or the officials, may result in removal from the event.
  • Failing to comply with instructions from school administrators, staff, and
    security/law enforcement.
